i bought a texas instruments speak & read toy from horserider1972 in december. it cost $23.00 with shipping. the seller shipped it in a USPS priority mail box with absolutely no packing material inside. when i picked up the delivered package, the toy was thumping around loose inside the box. i put some batteries in it and, of course, it was messed up. i asked for a refund and never got one. this was disappointing of course but the real weird thing is the sort of timewarp this seller seems to live in. you email her with a problem and a week later a reply comes that she will look into it right away. then nothing happens and you wait a couple of weeks to try again because you're too nice, and she does the same thing. it kind of reminds me of timestretched audio. it doesn't sound like a record at half speed, it's just ssllloooowwwwww and wwwweeiiirrrrrddd. margo, i'm sorry if perhaps you have a health condition or something, but if you can't keep up with this stuff you shouldn't be using ebay.

anyway i received the broken thing just before christmas and emailed about it asking for a refund. i had her address by mid-january and sent it back promptly. in february i asked her if she'd forgotten my refund and she said she hadn't forgotten; the toy had just gotten there the other day. but no refund. after a bit i reminded her again and she said she had sent it already, which she hadn't. as of march 7 she is looking into it and will get back to me ASAP. riiiight. hopefully my negative feedback will be enough to get margo's ebay account suspended. i'd give up $23 to save other people the hassle of dealing with this seller.
